The Wee Adventure Film Festival offers adventure athletes the opportunity to showcase their adventure films. Wee Adventure Films capture the essence of adventure sports: the rush, the exhilaration, the great outdoors and the fun.

This year we had 22 film submissions and 17 of these films, including: BASE Jumping, MTB, Kitesurfing, Kayaking and Mountaineering, will be screened on FRIDAY the 5th of Febrary 2010.

"The inspiration for the Wee Adventure Film Festival came from seeing the Banff Mountain Film Festival over the last few years. I thought it was great. I started to think that it would be good fun to get a few friends to go out and make videos of themselves doing their adventure sports and to show the resulting films at some sort of gathering.

When I told people about the idea of the gathering to show self made adventure films there was a lot of interest. The more people I told the more interest was shown, so I decided why not have a film festival instead, and thus the Wee Adventure Film Festival was born" John Connolly, Festival Director

The Wee Adventure Film Festival offers adventure athletes the opportunity to come together and show their adventure films. We hope that your films will capture the essence of adventure sports: the rush, the exhilaration, the outdoors and the fun.
