Since 2007, the WAFF has been celebrating exhilarating adventure sports through short adventure films bringing audiences a range of amateur and professional adventure films, from both Irish and International filmmakers

We have screened an exciting mix of over 50 amateur and professional films, including: Kitesurfing, Downhill MTB, Sailing, BASE Jumping, Cycle Touring, Mountaineering, Kayaking and Surfing. The main festival takes place every February in Dublin, Ireland. The aim of the WAFF is to create a place where anyone can come together to be entertained and inspired by adventure films

The Wee Adventure Film Festival is a not-for-profit event run by a dedicated and passionate team of volunteers.

Most, but not all films, are made by amateur film makers who are getting out there and doing their thing and creating great films.

The Wee Adventure Film Festival offers adventure athletes the opportunity to showcase their adventure films. Wee Adventure Films capture the essence of adventure sports: the rush, the exhilaration, the great outdoors and the fun.
